How Portable Storage Units Work

Step 1 – We Bring the Storage Unit to You!

• Our specialist team of removalists and transporters will reach your residence or business on the date you need everything moved with our portable storage units. We’ve already spoken to you to ensure you’ve got the right type of storage unit selected especially for your needs and purpose of the day.
• You can select from three different pick up times every day (Monday to Saturday) to suit your style of doing things. If you’re an early riser, our team will get there bright and sunny for pick up at 7.00am – 8.00am, or a little after breakfast mid morning at 9:00am – 12:00pm. And if you want to get some last minute things out of the way, our team can swing my after lunch in the arvo between 1.00pm – 4.00pm.
• Do be aware that sometimes due to traffic or hold ups at our earlier jobs, it may be tough for us to give you an exact time for the afternoon pickups. But in order to keep the process as smooth as possible, our team will send you a heads up via text message as they are on your way to your location.

Step 2 – Loading up!

Type #1 – Premium Service – On us

• Our specialists carefully move all the packed boxes from your residence or business holding your precious items and load them up into the storage unit.
• All our storage units will be protected with extra padding and it will help the boxes to be secured in place. Our specialists will ensure that the padding as well as proper and careful packing in our vehicles will keep your items safe all the way through transit.
• The mobile storage units also each have its own padlock and only you will hold the key! Once everything is loaded up, you can personally ensure your items in there are secure at your residence or business before we transport everything to our warehouses. It will only be unlocked when you receive your mobile storage unit next.

Type #2 – Standard Service – On you

• You carefully move all the packed boxes from your residence or business holding your precious items and load them up into the storage unit.
• All our storage units will be protected with extra padding and it will help the boxes to be secured in place. Our specialists will ensure that the padding as well as proper and careful packing in our vehicles will keep your items safe all the way through transit.
• The mobile storage units also each have its own padlock and only you will hold the key! Once everything is loaded up, you can personally ensure your items in there are secure at your residence or business before we transport everything to our warehouses. It will only be unlocked when you receive your mobile storage unit next.

Step 3 – Lock it up, safe and sound!

• Our specialists arrive safely at our warehouses and move your mobile storage unit into our facilities.
• Our experienced warehouse manager will use a forklift to hoist the mobile storage unit into a space personally reserved just for your mobile unit.
• Rest assured that our self-storage facilities are 100% safe from the elements and are continuously watched and kept safe by a private security company. Everything is A-ok from here until you next need your items!

Content Insurance

We only want the best for you and your items.

Sometimes even with all the care we put in, things still happen. We highly recommend extra precaution and for you to still insure your belongings.

With Super Cheap Self Storage, your valuables are under constant consideration and attention so that they stay safe and free from damage and decay. We want you to love us and what we do for you too! But we’ve got a friend Murphy whose Law says that some things will still go wrong. We know through experience an event where even with all our careful consideration and care, an accident still does happen, that you as out valued customer would be protected.

We’ve got some great options for you which pre-include our own moving insurance to cover your items while being moved. We also would highly recommend one of our trusted providers at Removals Insurance to protect your valuable items throughout the moving and transportation process. Although we are experienced and our specialists pride themselves in their work and their job handling your items, it is always better to play safe and to ensure that there are always precautions in place.

We also offer an amazing low-cost in-house insurance which is especially crafted for our customers to protect your precious items while they are on site with us at the Super Cheap Facility. It’s just $1.50 per month for every $1,000 of coverage (with a minimum of $5,000) and it covers theft, fire and flooding.

PACKING everything to go

We’re gonna help you bundle it all together.

Our in-house experts at Super Cheap Self Storage are always available to give you some timeless advice to help you pack safer, faster and with a lot less hassle and stress.

We’ve even got the supplies you need for packing. The Super Cheap Self Storage packing products we offer you are in perfect bundles and are exactly the same as the ones our professional removalists (packers and movers) will use if they were doing the job for you.

Just one last thing you’ll need to know is we’re confident that your items are as secure as possible in the walls of our Super Cheap Self Storage warehouse.

There are fully-enabled locks and alarms at all of the Super Cheap Self Storage facilities so if anything threatens the safety of your belongings, our security team is alerted and on the ball to protect your items in a moments’ notice.

Not just is the location is safe, but it’s clean and welcoming too! We endeavour to keep our location as clean and fresh as possible. As if your belongings were given a top-class stay in a great quality hotel. We’ll be able to give your items the best of treatment; if your items could speak, they would say it’s as if they’ve never left home because at its Super Cheap staycation, we’ll take care that our facilities and grounds are in the best condition all the time.

And just like a great vacation, it’s only a little while away from going back to familiar hands and surroundings. You can come to visit your items at our extremely convenient hours – we want to make sure that your belongings are ready for you at your convenience. We just need two business days’ notice to provide you full access to your items when you’ve come to visit. We are available for you Mondays to Fridays from 8AM to 4PM or Saturdays from 9AM to noon.

Super Cheap Self Storage is also pleased to offer you full concierge services to keep track of any further other movements – inbound and outbound – of your belongings and their deliveries.

And because customer satisfaction and contentment is number one on our list, sometimes we may not be the right fit for you, or you may need to move out early for any reason. Super Cheap is making it about you when we refund any unused rent at the point of termination of your contract. But on the other hand if you’d love to spend a little more time getting to know us and give us a chance; we’re currently offering an additional month’s rent for free if the first six months are paid in advance, but with no refund if you happen to leave early.
