Villawood is a suburb in the state of New South Wales, Australia, and is a part of the Greater Western Sydney region.

Once the home of the Aboriginal tribe of Gandangara European settlement started in the early 1840s. The area was once known as Dog Trap Road but when the train station opened in 1922 the area was renamed to Woodville Road. That was however not long-lived and once again had to change into present name.
