Subiaco is a suburb to the west of Perth, Western Australia and part of the local government area the City of Subiaco. The area was previously inhabited by the Noongar Indigenous people and after which, the first Europeans to come and settle here were Italian Benedictine monks, which led to the naming of the place after Subiaco in Italy. The Subiaco railway station services this suburb along with the Daglish and West Leederville stations.
