Woodberry is a suburb in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia as part of the local government area (LGA) of the City of Maitland. The suburb is bounded by the Hunter River in the East, the Francis Greenway Creek in the North, and the Main Northern line in the Southwest. There are a number of water ways and water bodies located in the area and it is mostly made up of residential area that is prone to flooding.

There is not much by way of landmarks here given its location as one of the eastern most suburbs of the LGA and small population of little over 3,000 but a couple of schools are located here including the Francis Greenway High School, Woodberry Primary School and Woodberry Learning Centre. A lot of the land area here is still undeveloped and rural.
