Salisbury is a suburb to the south of the Brisbane CBD in Queensland, Australia. The Rocky Water Holes Creek runs through the suburb and the Russ Hall Park is found along its path on the east side of the suburb. The Griffith University Campus as well as the majority of the Toohey Forest Conservation Park lies just outside of the eastern boundary. The Mayne Ridge Track comes down from the top of the suburb to meet Tarragindi Road. The Salisbury train services the suburb on the Beenleigh line and the railway tracks bound the west border of Salisbury.
There are a number of schools within the suburb as well which include The Construction Training Centre, SkillsTech Australia and the Brisbane Christian College. A number of schools were slated to be closed in 2013 (9 in total), including Nyanda State High School.
