Logan City is a local government area in the south east region of Queensland, Australia. The Logan River and the Albert River are found across this part of Queensland and the Logan Motorway cuts across the area here as well. The City as well as many other locales in the area are named after Captain Patrick Logan, who was the commandant of the Moreton Bay convict settlement.
