Meadowbank is a suburb in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the local government area of the City of Ryde and part of the Northern Suburbs area. The area is bounded by the Parramatta River to the South, Adelaide Street to the West and partially bounded by the North Shore, Northern & Western Line of the Sydney Trains network which cuts through the suburb.
There is a history of Aboriginal culture in the area from Sydney Cove to Parramatta on this side of the river and as its name suggests, there is a great deal of park land and waterways including the Meadowland Park where the Ryde Tennis Academy and Meadowbank Park Tennis Courts are located, Memorial Park and Helene Park, the Archers Creek, Cherity Creek and Smalls Creek also run through. Meadowbank TAFE and The Italian Bilingual School as well as a large number of churches can be found in the area as well.
