Mona Vale is known as the administrative centre for the Pittwater Council in the Northern Beaches area of Sydney. Mona Vale Beach is lovely for tourists for its shallow depth. It was previously known as Bongin Bongin Beach after the name for which Aboriginals used to call the area. It has a children’s pool and a lap pool at the top of the beach and it adjoins the Mona Vale Golf Club and beach reserves. There is a second beach north of this which is known as “The Basin”.
Besides the beach, Mona Vale has two schools- Mona Vale Public School and Sacred Heart School, a Returned and Services League of Australia club – the Pittwater RSL Club, Apex park, the Mona Vale public library, a second golf course – the BayView Gold Club, a hospital – Mona Vale Hospital, a skatepark which is soon to be redeveloped, a bus depot, three supermarkets and a variety of shops.
We think that protecting the earth is just as important as providing excellent services to our customers. For this purpose, we have converted our trucks to run on ethanol. This is because ethanol is generally regarded as a more environmentally-friendly fuel compared to gasoline as it emits lesser carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
