Bibra Lake is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia and part of the local government area the City of Cockburn. A man named Benedict von Bibra selected this area as a camping ground while journeying from Perth and Fremantle and the name stuck years later as the area is preserved as the Fremantle District Roads Board strives to keep the area for recreation.
The majority of the suburb is made up of Beeliar Regional Park and the Bibra Lake Reserve which take up about half of the land area here. The parks are home to an Adventure World Theme park, a Bungee West bungee jumping tower, Cockburn Ice Arena, Perth Paint Ball Bibra Lake and Laser Corp Perth laser tag grounds. Besides these, the suburb is mostly light industrial area, the Western Power Substation and the Waldorf Primary school and a Montessori Primary school are located within.
